  • We had one of these with a 1950 Model A...put it on the PTO and a chain kept the housing from spinning. It worked...kind of-- filled a basketball quickly or a front or implement tire okay but probably would have burned through a tank of gas to fill a rear. There always seem to be a lot of these on Ebay. IH, JD-- they seemed like they were identical. Fortunately we had a big (in the 50's-60's) air compressor. And a power greaser. The 12A combine had a lot of grease fittings, and the New Idea 2 row trailer picker probably had 100...anyway, there seemed to be a steady stream of neighbors who just cruised in to get some free air. But back to your question-- get one! A fun attachment. Even a Red one...you can always squirt it the right color!
